i can make it very hard to steal. i am very good at auto security...things that nobody would ever be able to get through even if you gave them the key.

 

yeah, but i don't want to make it a bitch for me to get in and drive either... i've been through all the fuel cut-offs and bypasses and whatnot. plus i'm really just done with red cars in general.

 

well it sucks you are done with red cars... but you are thinking way too simple. i am talking about a transponder unit...only bad thing is, if they carjack you and throw you in trunk... the car will continue to drive.

 

transponder huh? like the kind they have on the higher-end lexi nowadays? i don't know much about it, but i heard you don't even need a key any more. your keychain sends a signal to the car and unlocks when your within a certain proximity to the car. once you're in the car, hit the button and go.

but sorry. i'm really not into red anymore, and i really don't want to deal with repaint.

the type of transponders i deal with will not allow you to start the car without the transponder present, just like the new cars with the chip in the key. and yes, you can use a transponder to activate proximity door locking and unlocking. the push the button is neat, you just keep the key or card in your pocket.

 

I have a 98' Silver Ek hatch for sale , pretty clean car. Has a/c and power steering , the a/c only has to be charged and I can do that for you. Has a B16 swap w/ a fairly new DC sports header , lowered w/ Ls mesh wheels. The only thing is I am in Oklahoma but can have it delivered .

I know you were intrested in a hatch, but i've got a 93 coupe w/ bar'd gsr swap. custom white w/ pearls and sparkle paint job. Wings west sides, etc..etc.. Located in corona, ca if intreseted still.
