what harness do i have?
so i meet up with soemone and pick up a harness off of him. It was supposed to be a crx si harness 89 i believe i was told. i have an 88 si, and i know there was going to be some splicing involved on the driver side shock tower, but when we put it on, nothing was matchin up.
This is of the driver side shock tower, i have and extra huge like 12 pin connector going to nothing......

This next pic is of pass side shock tower, i am holding the plugs that are from the harness.

Anyone wanna help me out? wtf harness is this, looks like i gotta go and find another correct harness

while were on the subject, when i was wire tucking a friends 89 Crx Si he had the big 12 pin connector on the drivers side like above. On my 88 Si i did not have that? What is it?
the 89 Si should have had a round 8 wire connector (DX is round 14 wire) - the 88 Si had a square 6 wire connector - it only had 6 wires because it didn't have a Fast Idle Control Valve on the back of the intake manifold - the 89-91 had 2 extra wires for FICV, thus the 8 wire connector

I remember when I was buying my harnesses for my car the Hatch and CRX harness were different was well. 88 is such a bastard year though

the dx harness does not have a resistor box plug either.
