CHeck engine light.. VTEC code. 99 Accord
Well I thought it would be this.. But have no idea why.
It showing a Vtec malfunction.
I took the sensor off, cleaned teh screen section. Havent driven it yet.
It has oil in it.
ANy ideas?

Without a code, it's going to be hard pointing you in the right direction. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but really - these systems are pretty good at giveing hints.

I've seen this from either low oil level OR low oil pressure. Given that, I'd look at the solenoid itself; the ECM senses only electronic components and what info they may send to it. It might be calling out the solenoid itself.
