ZC SWAP AXEL PROBLEM

Default ZC SWAP AXEL PROBLEM

The driver side axel keeps breaking at the joint closest to the tranny input? any suggestions........ i got axels for an 88 acura integra which i was told to do so.... is that wrong?

if you have a ZC transmission with ZC intermediate shaft, you need 90-93 Integra axles - 88-89 Integra are too short

i'm surprises u can use them...cause the 88 teg imput shaft are smaller in diameter then the 90-up. trust me i tryed...u need 90-93 non abs axels.

Alright i got the axels for a 90-93 non abs acura integra now when i tighten them down it freezes the hub/rotor and everything and wont turn anyone know why this is?

therre are rubber dust seals on the axle and hub that must be removed. i had teh same prob. if u do a search u should be able to find it on here. thats where i found the solution with a picture.

yeah just take a screwdriver and where the axel meets the hub there is a dust ring (you can barley tell its there you have to look closely.) just take a screw driver and pry it off and you are set.
