Too big for what? A decent, practical car....yes. A Chevy Avalanche....no.

19 for show yes, to drive NO. The best biggest is 17 and best for better performance is 16 althought it will lack the show aspect of a 17. your luide will be a lot slower since it will have to deal with the weight of a huge 19 wheel
you can do them. if it's just for show, that's cool. I think his thoughts are to fill the wheel well without lowering the car.
one thing to point out, though...if you're planning on putting big-*** 19s on the car, be prepared for your speedometer to be WAYYYY off, unless you're running tires the thickness of a condom...

I had 17" chromies and evryone was telling how much power I was loosing though those things and when I swapped to the stockers, I gained like 5 miles to the gallon and spin in 2nd. But I think, lowered, you might fit 18's.

Not only will they hurt performance, they will increase your maintence costs. Heavy wheels are known to tear up tie rod ends, suspension bushings, wheel bearings, not to mention the increadibly rough ride they'll give you. I can see putting 19's on for a show car, but you'll wish you had smaller wheels if you plan to drive it like that alot.
wow bunch of flamers in this thread
first of all big doesnt always mean heavy
second of all its your car if you want 19s expletive everybody else and get 19s
and third of all that red 5th gen looks hawt on the 19 te37s

1.) If you want them get them but you will notice a power loss
2.) Huge rims look pretty shitty in my opinion but this is you car so screw what everyone else thinks if you like them
3.)Wow that autotrader car with huge rims looks disgusting

that looks goofy IMO, 18's are the max when it comes to decent looking..

. Your car will be noticeably slower with them.
