is there a difference in valve springs/retainers for vtec & non vtec motors?

Default is there a difference in valve springs/retainers for vtec & non vtec motors?

found someone sellin crower valvetrain, but he has an LS. is there a difference?

I'm pretty certain that there is a difference of stiffeness between the stock vtec and non vtec valve springs. I don't have the specs. but the two engines have very different configurations (different camshafts, different working RPM...). I would not install springs in a GS-R that were made to work in an LS ( unless the LS was modified in some sort )
