Default Is there a possibility of TWIN turbo on a B16a?

I was just thinking about it today as a gd cure for the low torque in the lower revs and having a larger turbo for the high revving part.

Is this possible on a civic? never heard of it being done so i am not sure. And how would it work?

I met this guy that used a supercharger on his ford focus for low rev power and a turbo for his higher revs.

So anyone carried out a custom job like this?

I heard a while ago that some guy was trying to build a twin turbo b16 but that was over 2 years ago. I think he realized its totally pointless..

a buddy of mine has a supercharged turbocharged b18 in his civic. he uses a jackson for low end, and has a bypass valve that uses the turbo for high end. is it a road course car, so he needs the low end, otherwise he would be just running a turbo.

Yeah it's possible. Im pretty sure a guy on HMT did it an concluded it was in fact a waste of time.

B16 and torque don't belong in the same sentence. If you want torque, slap a B20 bottom end on it, or if you're really serious about getting out of your own way, get a K24A2 from a TSX.

Don't use the second smallest Honda engine produced in the recent past and then bitch about torque production.

It comes in a CRV. All b series can come together but I think the b20 block with a b16 head is awfully tall if I'm not mistaken.

More like Honda and torque don't belong in the same sentance. It's not like by adding a B20 bottom end you are going to have an LT1 all of a sudden.

Turbo B16 can be plenty fast...
