1990 dx hatchback

Default 1990 dx hatchback

can i swap out the 1990 4 speed tranny for a 5 speed si tranny or will that not work, let me kno thanks

It should work easily. Everything plugs in just like the 4 speed.

you can't do it quick enough. if you can afford it, do the clutch while it's out.

Also get some si/dx hubs so you can have bigger brakes and use the stronger si/dx axles..

DX comes in 5 speed, the STD comes in 4 speed

I would get a stage 2, the good thing is if you stay D series you can take it to any engine you get. I heart my stage 2 clutch, it makes all the difference. I pulled my engine TO replace my clutch, so while the engine is out you might as well replace it.

No,DX models either have 5spd or auto..STD models have 4spd manuals
