I have a DOHC ZC and my hood doesn't close, so I usually sit on it and it latches. Makes for a quite spring-loaded hood.

My hood closes fine. But my friend had to cut the webbing out of his hood to get it to shut right...It all depends what mounts/ and motor you have..B18/b20/b16b blocks are taller then b16a/b17a blocks..

What mounts are you using?? I had HCP mounts and I had the same problem. You can resolve the problem by buying the JDM Front End or you can cut your USDM hood. I had a b16 with the HCP mounts and it cleared the USDM hood but when I put my Type R in it started hitting the hood. The GSR and Type R sit a little higher because the block is taller. Hope I helped Good Luck

There's nothing wrong with place racing mounts..You dont neccesarily have to cut the hood..You can use washers to make the hood kind of sit up more and give more clearence..

can this be battery or alternator!..i was drving it around and the battery light is on? its gets dimmer and dimmer the longer i drive..when i finally got home i go to start my car and it won't start and light is dim...can it be the alternator not working and draining my battery in my car!..I HATE SWAPS..it gives soo much problem afterwards..

If you know for a fact that the battery is good then its probably the alterantor..And the alternator has nothing to do the car being swapped..It's just wear and tear..

Check your connections. Last time that happened to me it was because the positive came off the battery after I hit a bump. Alternator is definitely a possibility tho.
