i have a 91 hf and the motor is blown and i picked up a si motor for cheap...will everything bolt up perfect with no problems at all? i am keeping trans and all that? anything i should know before i do this swap?

 

i have a civic 4 dr and want to do the samething. i have the motor and trans and ecu.

 

The only thing which is somewhat involved is the DPFI to MPFI conversion. I just did this with my B16a swap and I was crossing my fingers when I tried to start it. Distributor plugs are sometimes different as well (mine were). Otherwise I assume that the block and head of an Si and a Dx engine are the exact same so everything should bolt up.

 

The HF is already MPFI. Should be plug and play.

yes your in there! si in hf yes,plug in play.change the intake and ecu from hf to si simple swap!
