Default 88 hf crx suspension

hey guys i searched for days on this subject and found nothing that answerd my ?

im looking for a suspension setup for an 88 crx hf. i dont mind a harsh ride at all and i want it to handle very well.

i have heard that there is a diffrent design to the 88 model suspension so i just wanted to make sure that i can find somthing that will make my car shine when it comes time to go for a drive. if anybody knows about any possible swaps to make finding suspension easier or about any conversions please let me know...

thanks for you time

the 88's have a different type of lower control arm that requires a different shock to mount. it doesnt affect anything else in terms of handling. in fact, if you got the later 89-91 lower control arm, it would be no different other than now you can use the 89-91 rear shocks.

anyway, i tihnk you should get some rear swaybar since the HF doesnt have one. it will help a lot in the balance of the car. the problem is that you dont have the lower control arms and the holes in the chassis to mount the stock swaybar. so youre pretty much limited to using the 22mm suspension techniques rear sway bar.

also, in general, tokico illuminas and eibach prokits are a great setup especially for crx's.

those race valves really arent applicable for street use. really. dont think that its ok to use because you dont care about ride quality and youre hardcore... just get the regular koni yellows. theyve always been available for 88 and itr rears.
