ok first... is this normal? the gaps between the block and the em gasket???
if its normal... know any good ways to find a header/head gasket leak?

Block the exhaust with the engine idling. Listen for the 'Hiss"

i am not sure that i see anything wrong with that manifold.

 

ok... well i think that ive come to believe that the em gasket is supposed to be placed that way... so i will block off the exhaust in the morn and if the engine doesnt stall or explode before i attempt to listen for hissing i will report any findings. thanks
