i bought a 90 dx hatch and put a motor in it...so i get in the car and all the guages are lit up and no key is in the ignition..of course it wont turn over at all anyone got any suggestions on what i may have done wrong

 

has the dash been swapped?

 

not that i know of its the stock ugly blue color

um i got it and there was no motor in it well there was but the head was gone and the pistons were all rusted basically junk...so i bought a motor out of a 90 si and swapped the manifolds so i didn't have to rewire to change to mpfi...so i basically hooked everything back up and put the battery on you can hear the fuel pump kick on but that happens as soon as the battery is attatched...without a key even in the ignition

 

sounds like a bad ignition switch...
