Does anybody know kind of bulbs that 96-98 CTR lights take? Do they take to stock H4 bulb size?

 

Yep factory H4 type

Autozone, Pep Boys, Napa, Advance Auto, or your local parts store. You can also find them at places like Target and Walmart.

Not the light bulbs the actual CTR lights

 

was just on jdmcarboy.com and they had them for 500$ shipped

Or, you can do what a lot of us do and buy them off EBay/DIY.
