Default What is the best way to clean stainless steel headers?

As stated.... (I'm guessing this would be the best place for the post)

What is the best way to clean stainless steel headers?

I've had mine on for 2-3 years now and they are in need of a GOOD cleaning, I tried some mothers metal polish on them and it didn't do much. Thanks in advance.

Best way would be to go and have them electro polished and next time you put them on make sure you clean it with acetone really good to get all oils off then go for it and watch the pretty colors come back

I know this is an old-azz post, but do you know of a good place in DFW to get this done, and how much does it usually cost?

if there is surface rust, get some sand paper, around 80 grit and work up from there to a finer grit..
