It shakes at idle off and on...and once i hit 55 mph it shakes. The vibrations seem to get smaller once i get to around 80mph. The other thing i noticed is when im at a stop and i dont have my hands on the wheel, the steering wheel turns left all by itself when i start to accelerate. I just got a full 4 wheel alignment so it cant be that. Any idea what could cause this?

 

Have you checked your rotors to see if they are warped? Also may want to look into rack end bushing and check the other bushing to see if everything is okay.

Do you have urethane bushings?
That will make the steering wheel vibrate.

my steering wheel is a blur when it happens. It happens on and off tho.

yup az poly mounts, but the vibration wasnt there before so its not that. It just started a couple of weeks ago. I did take the tranny off and on about the same time it started, dont know if theyre related.
