Default Mugen front bumper

I know i might get burned for this, but does anybody know a site where they sale a knock off mugen front bumper. I like the look of it, and i know that i just couldnt justify spending like 1500 for a bumper. thanks

Ebay it pretty much the only place I know. There was a guy a while back like during the summer selling them for 300+shipping in ebay, but he's no longer putting them in, damm I should saved he's member name. Anyways, they are made of shitty fiberglass and the holes to fit the lenses are sealed and there's no mugen badge on it which looks very fake, I'm also sure the mesh grill they use is also generic. jsut keep searching ebay if you really want one, I'm sure any day he'll put them back

Yes, aftermarket copies don't have good fitment. However, if you get one made by VIS, it will fit like OEM. I have gone through three of these bumpers and VIS seems to fit the best out of all of them. I cannot justify spending $1200 on a fiberglass bumper (unless it was made of polyurethane) just because you'll run into things, or things will run into you, when you're driving. Fiberglass in nature tends to crack easily if there is enough impact. If your car is a showcar or kept in your garage and you rarely drive it, I would go with the VIS replica. Goodluck on your find.

why don't you spend the money on your motor?

you already told us you have an F22, and asked what kind of hp you'd make (about 130 whp), and you brag about the fact that you've got wheels on your car that match your avatar.

I say, build the motor ...worry about how it looks later. Besides, if you're fast enough, they'll never see you anyway

I don't like the Mugen lip all that much anyways. I like the OEM one much more.

well, if they made a polyurethane version of the mugen bumper, i would keep it. Right now, i'm thinking about removing mine because somebody hit it while trying to get out of their parking spot. Left me with a few hairline cracks that will eventually spread if I don't get it repaired..
I'm thinking about putting my stock OEM bumper back on and getting a carbon lip to go with it, but then i would have to get my bumper touched up or repainted (has a few scratches)...ahh..it's hard driving nice cars, especially when you get idiots that don't know how to drive hit you...
