This is a big, heavy car in terms relative to the Honda World.
I think the best thing would be to keep your eyes peeled for an A Spec suspension. Even from the dealer it won't cost much, and it's made by Showa/Honda and completely reliable, with no need for a camber kit and only a decent, moderate drop.

thanks for the info George, i was worried about some good suspension for that car. any specific setup you might suggest looking into? i want her car to maintain a luxurious feel to it with a little bit of a drop to clean it up a bit. i dont want to put any kind of crazy *** kits on the car but im wondering if there were ever any optional oem kits? or something similar that doesnt take away from the car and make it look like im tryin to rice it out.
I know there's an Acura-sold, Honda/Showa-made A Spec suspension made for the current iteration of the TL, and I know that it also works on the current iteration of the Accord V6 and RL.
If the 1997 Acura is basically the same chassis as the 2006 car, then it would work, and work very cheaply. You can find them for around $600 on eBay all the time.
I'll probably end up with one of these on my 2006 Accord V6-6 pretty soon.

Around $600 new.
Not adjustable in any way. It's designed to be a no-brainer installation for enthusiasts who don't want to worry.
No height adjustment, no damper adjustment, no camber kit required, and genuine Honda/Showa parts.
