my car is a 95 prelude si 2.3 but i swaped an h22a jdm vtec motor my vehicle speed sensor is bad im going to replace it but cant find it on the damn car i know how it looks like it has like 3 screws my ? is which one do i get si or vtec ive looked at oem online stores they look the same but i want the right one for my car and want it to work lol any help will be appreciated guys thnx

That is not the correct speed sensor. That speed sensor is for the 2.3 or SE model. The one we have is longer - with a gear at the end. Do a quick search, there's definately a pic on here somewhere.

And that vss doesn't look anything like ours. I'll try to find a quick pic and post back in a few.

the peice he pictured is the actual sensor, and if the gear and its housing is all ok, thats all he will need to replace...

thnx fellas kingpin the pic helped but i still cant find the damn sensor im going to order the one for vtec since my car is vtec now no longer si 2.3 ive had the motor for about 5 year's now so im guessing is for vtec sensor

 

well i just got done mph work fine and vtec kicks in yay man it was a bitch to put the vss on prelude suck to work on but yeah i like prelude's so i guess i have to deal with it thnx to all of u guys that reply to help me
