NEED HELP! Are OBD 1 and OBD 2 injectors interchangable??????does anyone have obd2 injectors in thei
my question is if they have the same resistance or amps...like will there be any problems using OBD2 injectors in an OBD1 car????? does the ecu know what kind of ressitance or whatever?????
if they do work, why does honda put different harness plugs on them???any logical answer will work
has anyone put OBD2 injectors in their obd 1 cars? any problems,,.....thanks for your help in advance........
also i know you can modify them to fit onto obd1 harnesses.......
peace

i am running 1998 injectors on a 1994 engine. the only difference are the connectors to the harness. all other specs are the same. you may have to alter the existing harness to install them.
so you have NO problems at all?? whatsoever??? thanks
the reason is because im using 1 obd2 injector in my car and am wondering if thats the problem.....im kinda having some problems with cold starts.....i have to rev it when i start it up.....thjanks

It depends what car/motor you are talking about. For example, on the 1993-95 OBD1 H22a motors, the injectors are peak and hold. But on the 1997-2001 OBD2 H22a they are saturated injectors... So in the case of an H22a, they are not interchangeable without other modifications made...
