I was thinking of dropping in a set of Skunk 2 stage II's cams on a daily driven ITR but don't know the performance....

Can someone that has had these cams on their ITR give me some info or advice on how the run for daily driving? How is the idle and Gain?

 

u need springs and retainers with those cams, the idle is smooth but u can make them lobe if u want, i have those cams in my jdm r and i love the topend power.

 

i also have those cams along wit the springs/retainers, very good for daily drivin, nice enough idling, and like stated above, amazing top end power

same exact cam as the skunk2 stage 2 just cheaper.
the omni or rocket valvetrain should be good with these cams..
or there's always portflow (you can use your existing outter springs along with portflow inners/retainers)
the cam profile is almost the exact same as the jun3.
cams should idle very well, and make great top end.
if you do a search in the all motor forum, there's tons of info on these cams.

 

i am a big fan of skunk2 cams, i had stage1s in my gsr they wre awsome i have a friend selling brand new set of stage 2 pros i belive pm me if u are intrested

 

do you guys think JDM ITR retainers will hold up for the S2S2? or do i need to upgrade? heard that the ITR are Ti as well

 

very HIGHLY recommended that you upgrade to the skunk2 retainers as well.

 

ITR retainers are not titanium.
