I was offering KRBfab manifolds on my site. In the last month, Vince has since stopped making manifolds, and got a job somewhere. As a distributor for KRB, he also left me in the dark regarding some orders, and I never did get ahold of him. He eventually sent me an email that he wasn't going to be making manifolds anymore.

I don't know what his deal is, and I don't know why he feels the need to leave unfinished business on the table before persuing something else.

He didn't have a problem with trying to screw me, so I don't have any issues with posting his cell phone number for anyone needing to contact him. (402)203-3257. He probably won't answer, and you may have to get law enforcement involved, but people choose thier own destiny, and it seems he's choosing his.

Anything further, please pm me. -Steve

This is the second manifold guy that I've worked with, and the second flake.

The lifetime warranty thing is a joke when these guys fall off the face of the earth. I do honor the warranties on everything I sell, regardless of if the manufacturer is still alive or not. It can be alot of weight when they dissapear, but it's my name at that point.

So many flaky manifold makers. Is the welding affecting their brain or something?

theres so many hours put into it its hard to keep up or deal with at time. People think manifold makers make so much money, you know who makes money in this industry? people who sell accesories. we make 50-100$ off a 700 product. they make 30$ off a 20$ product.

seriously this industry kinda blows and i've had my fair share of physical break downs. its hell on the body. and you gotta be disciplined to keep up with the demand and the amount of work tahts required and needed.

When you get people selling manifolds for crackhead prices, this is bound to happen. There's too much labor that goes into a manifold to keep making them for nothing. They sell them cheap, get a ton of orders, and finally say screw it, it's not worth my time, and screw over a bunch of people.

this was his real last response

"I do apologize for the late reponse. I had to go on an unexpected
trip out of town to chicago for an interview for a college internship. It
might surprise alot of people but I'm just your regular college guy who
loves car and fabbing. Rest assure however, you will get what you paid
for and more. I will include several free gift stuch as flanges to
connect your downpipe to your exhaust for the extra time. I understand
that you will not do your install til spring, so rest assure I'm trying my
best to send the stuff out as soon as possible. I could not check my mail
during the trip due to the schedule and the lack of transportation, but
everything is over and I will keep you updated every 4 or 5 days on the
process.

If there's anything else you would like me to do, feel free to let me know."

im not saying hes a bad guy or anything i just want to know if he is really trying to run away with my money. i got this email don dec. 5 and tahts what really last time i heard from him

I used to try and do stuff for lower dollar prices but soon learned my lesson as I had gotten 5-7 months behind on orders

Vince isn't the type to run with your money. He's the type that gets backed up and instead of standing up and facing the music, he runs from it by dissapearing.
I'm hopefull that he'll feel the pressure and take care of this. A call to his local law enforcement wouldn't be out of line though.

Vince's name on here (FYI) is lostcrx.

"tdocrx" on here from what I know is a local friend to Vince that may be able to help you get a hold of him. He's helped me in the past.

Taking money and running = thief, scammer, crook.

Running from work as it builds up = someone that takes breaks to relieve thier stress and finally comes back around and makes things right.

I guess "running" was the key word that I used for both acts. My bad.

Actually, i think the confusion was not putting "finally comes back around and makes things right" in the first post. lol

i dont know krb fab lost me from the first day i got my manifold. it was total **** whole manifold was shifted like 1/8th inch to the left of the flange. major major porting would have had to been done. and so i sold it. well.. the new guy puts it on his car and the flange was warped to ****. sorry but to me krb fab was shitty from the beginning. how you could even send something out like that just baffles me.

i love this site. everyone is so quick to bash on a company, thats why noone can actually get started in making money. well, lets see here, i will talk to vince for you tonite tu

stealthmode, if you were the good business man that you are, you would have listened to the company's requests. you want to air out some laundry, i will do so myself. vince is a full time student, and makes manifolds on the side. how do you expect someone to make more then 2 manifolds a week. thats exactly what he asked of you to do. crackhead pricing and how much of a cut were you making for sitting around doing nothing? alot if you ask me, i dont blame you for pressuring sales. and he did try contacting you before he pulled the plug, except no response, you were prob on vaca again, so he had to email you while he was out of town.

umm, crackhead pricing? well, if you actually figure out the costs of the materials involved, you are making money off of it. your not payin for a name, your paying for the product. who here hasnt had problems starting up? i've seen **** about the other big name'd companies with the same issues. this whole ordeal is made in mind for the budgeted modifiers, not the hardcore street racers looking at spending some serious cash on ****.

If you knew anything about my dealings with Vince, you would know I called him often to check on progress. He frequently told me that things were going reasonably well. If Vince told me there were too many orders, than I would have taken care of it. He was responsible for quoting delivery times for manifolds, not me. If he quoted 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years, it was left to him as far as how long it would take. If the customer had an issue with the timing, they were refunded with an appology. Doesn't seem like so much pressure on him, and that's the way it was designed.
I tried contacting Vince via 3 methods for two weeks. He never once contacted me. Wether I was on vacation or not, I check my emails everyday, and I have 2 cell phones on me from the time I wake up until I go to sleep. He never contacted me.
My customers have come to expect a good quality product, at a fair price. Between them getting quality product for a fair price, it doesn't matter what I make.
In the end, what matters is the customer gets the quality product they paid for. In this case, they did not. My end of it was fully covered.

I wish Vince the best in whatever he decides to do. I know manifolds weren't his main gig, and I don't hate or dislike anyone for anything. It just didn't work out. -Steve
