New Rear Toe Link or LCA: Help me Decide
The rear toe link on the passenger side of my stock 97 del Sol is maxed towards the center and I still can't get stock alignment. The tech recommended an adjustible compensator arm (i.e. toe adjustor/link). Summit sells a SPC piece for $130 (http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp&N=400885).
OTOH, the compensator isn't off for no reason. Members on this Board speculate that it is a bent LCA. Although tire wear isn't unusual, it sounds like the most reasonable explaination. Should I replace the LCA or buy the adjustible compensator?
I have no idea how much an LCA costs. I suspect a few hundred at the junk yard. I would then have to replace bearings, bushings, as well as move brake components. Seems like a PITA. Any reaon I should go this route over the adjustible link?

Swapping out the LCA won't require any removing of the brakes or replacing of the wheel bearings. And like Vitt mentioned, the bushings are included in the OEM's. So it would be a relatively cheap and simple fix, if in fact your lca that is bent.
Thanks for you responses. Yes, I was confusing the LCA with the trailing arm. I have decided to replace both LCAs and sway bar with beefier ones from a VTEC model.
