Why do people not like the 70RR besides the fact that its unbearable loud. Good exhaust for turbo. I was thinking about going with the Veilside Teardrop. 5 LBS what!?

J's 70rr is not loud...the amuse r1000 is the lightest and loudest although some say the veilside is the loudest...

I want to hear the 70RR!!! I have sound clip of the T1R 70R and it's not that loud. The difference between these two exhaust is pertty much weight! the J's 60RS vs T1R 60mm size exhaust produce simliar power output. Its 10lbs vs 28lbs which one do you prefer

j's 70rr is 125-130db's.... keep in mind... most db limits at tracks are around 125db's.....

now the veilside one is also loud.. a buddy of mine had it and it was crazy... he also tried to weigh it on his digital scale and it wouldn't even register....

i would go for the j's... cuase i like the look of it better.... but there's nothing wrong with the T1R either.... they collaborate with Spoon for most of their parts...

since they are both singles.. i'd rather go for the lighter one... J's all the way.. besides it looks better as i've stated above..

wow 125-130dbs, man that is loud. I heard the amuse R-1 titan which I think is 105-110 dbs and I thought it was loud, sounded nice, but loud, a good loud. I can't imagine 130dbs. Is the Veilside louder than j's 70rr?

What are the gains of the Veilside versus the 70RR though?

70rr > veilside tear drop......

the veilside is only a catback... while the 70rr is a header back... that alone will yeild more power for the 70rr

stated by AJ-PwR on s2ki
"We do have close relation with Ichishima and he did offered us a lot of advice in producing and spec our products. "

says absolutly nothing about t1r is made by spoon.... t1r is a part of aj racing... they do source their specs on products out to japan to have them built.. but i don't believe spoon actually builds their parts for them.....
