It's only a good deal if the installer is skilled and competent. An excellent $200 film installation is, in my opinion, a far better deal than a poor or mediocre $100 job.

That being said, $100 is indeed towards the low end for a complete coupe installation in most areas. Either way, I would recommend examining a few customer cars that the installer has worked on before making your decision.

I have a friend of my uncles who does it for 100 bucks, all legal tint as dark as legally allowed here. He did a great job on mine. he actually only charges 80 but i gave him 100 just because i couldnt understand paying less.

He comes to your house to do it too, you dont even have to get off the couch.

Make sure the rear window is ONE piece and the rear tail light is covered with the tint. Also, the tint should go up to the edge of the window and not have the 1/4" missing around the edge. Other than little debris in the tint and using a good film there is nothing else to worry about......

I got a hookup here for 160 untaxed for Madico(spelling?) film and it was tinted all the way to the top by a professional. You can't find any place for under 180 that does a decent job.

I paid 180 for my lifetime warranty. I forget the shade, it's the second to the lightest. Looks really good. It would have been 100 but I had old tint on they had to take off and getting the old **** off the rear window is a bitch because of the rear defroster.

Look at some of the shops other work and then you can decide if it's a good deal.
