ok i just was wondering if anyone was using stock valve's with aftermarket springs and retainers reving to 8500 to 9k?

Stock valves with supertech springs and retainers here. 9000rpms daily. Stock valves are 100% fine in almost any all-motor build.

me 1007, my friend 1008, other friend, 1009, the other other friend 1010... hahaha. oh and its shifting at 10k or close to it. not really making power up there, so i try not to take it there.

Good question actually. Some Ti retainer require aftermarket valve locks. If you don't know this then you are well on your way to dropped-valve-ville which is right next to fuckedupmotorville .

The following retainers don't require aftermarket valve locks.

- Omni
- RM
- Supertech

(Note: this is not an exhaustive list).
