So is 06 the last year?
Well today i went to another Honda dealorship trying to get a leftover 05...
They tried to get me to buy an 06, telling me that it was the last year and that it will be a collectors item. I laughed at them.
Anyone else hear 06 is the last year?

but the thing is, they didn't say no more NSX for good like the type r...Honda has announced plans for a 10cyl NSX...Even if production stops for a year or so, the NSX will be around...

Frank, there are still Type R's being made. The NSX in its current form is finished. It went through 4 sets of 4yr periods.
2007 will be the last year for the S2000, it was announced a couple months back in the same Honda press conference that told us the NSX replacement will have a 10 cylinder engine.

The NSX engine is pretty huge. It would probably be easier to fit an inline six, instead of a V6 under an s2000's hood.

I just (today) talked to a Connecticut Honda dealer about the S2000. I was told the same thing - that 2006 will be the last year.
They have a leftover blue/blue '05, for about $29K.
He said the only change for '06 is the wheel design.

Go back to him, get his manager, and explain to him that not only is he wrong about the last year of the S2000, but he doesnt know **** about the car itself if he thinks that was the only change.

They can fit that in the back of an NSX, I'm sure there's a way to fit it in the front of an S2000 chassis.
I am really curious to see what the S2000's replacement will be though. BTW, is that the same factory that they hand assemble S2000's in?
