Default I am getting terrible gas mileage, help!

Me and my friend put a test pipe on my S2000, and hooked up the o2 censor, did everything right (or so we thought) and everything was cool for a few days until i threw a check engine light. Nothing seemed to be bad, my gas mileage was fine for a few tanks, but all of a sudden, it's gone way way down. 60 miles per half tank now, from over 130 miles per half tank. what is going on? I have 55,000 miles on the car, and havent done an oil change in 2200. this last tank, i havent even come close to vtec or "lugging the car" at all, as my shift point has been at 4,000 or under. all around town driving averaging about 35-45 mph. What do you guys think? Thanks

mine droped about 20 miles when i had my pipe on...i was running a mechanical 02 symilater, so i had no CEL...

I had a header and cat back though...

Its normal to lose miles...Once you change something on a car, you have to lose something somewhere it seems...
