I would like to scrap my 250,000mile 1992 civic hatch dx and get a "newer" 1992-1995 sedan. I could sell for parts and probably get a "newer" sedan for about the same price of all my parts that I take off it. Has anyone sold their car for parts over ebay and been successful?

This car leaks oil and I don't want to put any time/effort into it. It's easier for me to get one with half the mileage for about $2,000 Canuck dollars. It has very little rust around the rear wheels. What do you folks think? Feedback is appreciated.
