1992 civic parting out v.s. selling whole thing
I'm considering selling my 1992 civic hatch back dx in pieces v.s. selling as one piece. What option gets me the most return? Has anyone had any luck parting out their old civic? What did you get for all the parts?
consider what you would get for whole car. then make a list of parts people will actually want and how much you might get for them, compare

price list all of the things on your hatch. not everything you want to sell will be sold. you have to keep that in mind

Also keep in mind that you'll have to deal with the parts that no one is interested in buying, plus the time and effort it takes to strip it all and track down buyers.
I personally would just sell the car whole. Right now I'm parting a DA, but that's only because the rear frame is too rusty to pass inspection. It had a 97 motor in it so I bought it for my swap and whatever else I could use, and the rest is for sale.
