and yes I have checked my fade and balance on my head unit. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how did you solve it? Thanks

OEM or Aftermarket Radio chassis?

I suspect it may be a wiring (plug) issue since it involves more than one speaker. Perhaps pulling the head and checking the connections in the back might be worth a few minutes

If you haven't been doing anything to it and it just went out, and it is more than one speaker that went out suddenly for no reason. If it was one speaker I would say the speaker went out on you. If it was two speakers that went out at the same time, for no apparent reason, maybe one side of the amplifier crapped out on you. "Stereo" receivers have an amp for each side. Home receivers do it all the time. Had two of them do it to me before. Hook up one of the dead speakers to the live side, to rule out speakers. Could be wrong, but I know it happens.
