OK i just put in my new motor (d18z6
) everything is wired correctly i know. Now i have spark (for all i know the dizzy is 180* off as well but im getting spark) but i dont hear my fuel pump priming.
I check all my fuses and they are all good, all my grounds are attached and intact. I dont know what would cause the fuel pump not to kick on.
Also when i put the key in and put it to the on position the check engine light stays on, when it usually goes off after a few seconds (this is before i swapped the motor out).
Any ideas?

Maybe try your stock fuel pump to see if that primes. it might be that your new pump is bad. I dunno this is over my head. Maybe it's cause you have 99%?

my stock fuel pump was going out it was replaced with a walbro 255lph so i dont think thats it (mind you it has only about 500 miles on the new pump)
Check your grounds.
I had the same problem when I was fixing the hybrid I bought a year ago. I replaced everything you did, even the dizzy, belts, etc... and ended up to be some bullshit ground wire.

ok tested to see if power was going to the pump and there isnt, so could it be a wiring harness issue? since all of the fuses are good?

Can you run a separate wire direct from the pump to the source to see if you get power then?
