my crx has a b16a (1st gen) in it. i replaced the plugs, dizzy rotor, fuel pump. my car sputters at mid throttle. sometimes it takes a while to start. sometimes at a redlight, it will drop rpms all the way down and die. then it will crank back up on like the 3rd try. what do you guys recomend?

 

Sounds like possibly the main relay just borrow someone elses to try it. Can't hurt.

 

fuel filter needs to be changed. Are you running premium fuel? B16s are rated for 94 (jdm)or higher octane. but you can get away with 91-93 (usdm)easy.

if it still sputters after you chage your fuel filter. Make sure both your O2 sensors are connected. they go to pins C8 and C16 at the ecu. Follow the wire from teh sensors to the firewall then go inside and make sure they go to the ecu.

 

Agreed that you have fuel problems. Check your injectors if the relay and filter check out.
