'98 with 3.0 VTEC Timing belt
How difficult is the timing belt job on these ? I've done DOHC V6 Toyota engines
but not Honda. I'm sure the concept is the same but it looks pretty tight.
A friend of mine has 150k on his original belt/pump. I assume that this is an
interferance engine ?

You my friend are driving on borrowed time. And I mean that will all seriousness.
If that belt breaks you will be in a mother of a money pit.
Honda reccomends you change it at 105K miles. It's not so bad to do but if you have never worked on a Honda engine don't bothor.

not too tough if you have the experience from doing a Yota, you'll have the T-belt turn more than you think when tensioning it. And I think on those engines the dip stick hole needs to be plugged when you change the water pump or you'll have a couple cups of coolant in the oil pan.
