Ran my car again on a MD dyno (mustang 1750 dynomometer). Its not the one I ussually run on but it was free dyno time. This is the first time I have been to the dyno since I changed the collector on my Mugen header from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2, ran a 2 1/2 car sound cat and 2 1/2 back until the the exhaust bends to go over the rear trailing arm. Results where:
185hp @ 8000 rpm
130ft @ 6400 rpm
For all of my mods see the wesite below or check my profile, but for a qwik reminder STOCK:cams, head, bottom end and ecu. Mugen header and exhaust, comptech icebox, no p/s or a/c.
I picked up aprox. 5 hp but in return lost about 5 pound feet.
On a side note, My car was at the dyno because guys from AEM where in Michigan running a training course on how to program the new AEM proggramable engine management system and needed a vehicle. We didn't make any runs with the ecu because it was just to show how to set it up and there was not enough time to allow a tuning session.

that sounds real nice Matt, good work on that car. Are you dynoing at Payne Tech ?, I would love to try that dyno and see how it works, probably best setup to dyno tune fuel settings, better than a dynojet. Any idea how much they charge by the hour ?, since us lesser folk must pay for our dyno time

Payn Tech does not own a dyno, he use Detroit Speedworks, which is where the AEM class was held. They have a MD 1750 dyno. I usually tune @ Automotive Performance Engineering in Clinton Township, They have a MD 250. That is where the "Great Header Test" was held.

I guess you can't really compare the numbers since it is on two difference dynos!!
interesting, I always heard of guys dynoing at Payne Tech, never knew they used someone elses dyno. I would still like to try one of the Mustang dyno's though.
