please HELP with my wheels
OK well I finally got my 17's and put them on my car yesterday. Damn they look nice but now even the smallest bump or dip in the road makes them rub horribly. To the point where I actually have cuts in the sidewalls. I have a 96 GSR with the H&R sport springs (2" drop) and I left my stock shocks on. I know many of you have a 2 inch drop and 17's so how do I fix this problem. Cause I cant even drive my car its so bad. Do I put wedges in the springs or get some really stiff shocks. AHHHHH what do I do I just want to drive my car
. If I need to replace the shocks what do you all suggest and I would need some instructions on how to install them. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd start by getting higher performance shocks. The stockers are not really up to the task of damping a higher spring rate or lower ride height spring. That should help a little bit, anyway.

i have a 2.25 drop and run 17x7s with no problems...are you sure you cant "drive" around like that???? i dont have any camber wear...or any sidewall lacerations.
No man...every bump in the road rubs the tires, it shouldn't be like that, lots of people have 17x7 or bigger and have no problems. Did you roll your fenders at all??
How does the wheel size affect rubbing? It seems only the offset, tire size and suspension height make a difference. The tires he is using are only 3/16" larger radius than stock- but they are 3/4" wider than stock.
not to seem like an @sshole, but this is the reason why the max size integra owners use is 16.
but there are many people on the boards that have this setup, hopefully they will reply with a helpful answer.
