let me go take a better picture... you can see through it but its like the hole gets really small in the middle.
i hope its an aftermarket lsd in there (unless its a phantom grip lol)

judging by this picture found via google image search

id say that looks quite a bit like what the 2nd pic is supposed to be showing.
although i have been searching on this forum and it seems OBX's lsd is like an exact copy of Quaife's so i wonder how i can tell if its Quaife or OBX (or neither... i still dont know for sure)
honestly im leaning towards Quaife b/c the person i bought this tranny from has had it sitting in their house/garage for longer than the OBX has been out for h-series.
tis all speculation at this point tho. still looking for someone that wont give me a hypothesis, but instead cold hard facts (i can take it!)

thanks.
i just PMed the person i bought it from. they never used the tranny so the person that owned it before them must have put whatever lsd is in there in when they had it. im trying to find out who had it so i can ask wtf brand it is

click it for the big size.
basically, the seller said it was an h22 tranny with lsd. so i assumed it was an m2b4. much to my suprise... its an m2a4 and now im wondering if that thing in there is an lsd or not. and if it is what brand is it? (if you can tell by the pic...)</TD></TR></TABLE>
judging by the pictures you have i would say there is some serious internal damage to that tranny, nothing better than a paper weight, you should go ahead and ship it on over to me.. ill take care of it.

so i cracked the tranny open and saw what i wanted to see. it didnt say Quaife on it (possibly on the other side of it?) but the part number is F-5U1-02, and the part number for the Quaife LSD for preludes on kingmotorsports is QF-QDF5U1. so i think its a safe assumption that it is infact a Quaife.
