its not possible. u need to go bigger. ur gonna need a TON of compression, wild cams and race gas to do it. which wont pass emissions

We got 187whp out of a B16A powered 91 Hatch Si.

What it had:
Skunk 2 stage 2 cams.
Skunk 2 valve/retainers/springs
P&P
CTR pistons, mugen head gasket 12:1 compression.
DC sport ITR headers, Skunk 2 92-95 exahust shortened to fit EF chassis.
new everything.
Chipped ECU.
Rev limiter at 9200rpm and motor makes power all the way to it.
92-96 Prelude injectors
Stock fuel pump

If he would spend another 500$ on better injectors and pump and up the compression ratio he might be able to with 200whp...but guess what, all that money and the car still can't hit 14.1 street tires on the 1/4 mile. Simply doesn't have the torque to launch out of the hole.

It got beaten by a 91 Si hatch with GSR motor, stock, with ITR intake manifold, AEM CAI, DC sport header and Skunk 2 92-95 exhaust cut to fit EF. It ran a 14.0.

Best times for both those cars where ran by the same driver on the same rims and tires...guess what, 1.6L built gets owned by 1.8L stock.

Go adleast 1.8L for a build.

EDIT: He passed etest on cheater stats. Retard the timing, lean fuel, put D16Z6 stock ecu in, stock header/cat for b16a and stock si exhaust. He was told NOT to go over 4000rpm on his way there and back. Running on 94 fuel with octane booster and had the motor nice and warm, barely passed . Honestly, get your car e-test BEFORE you put that motor in to pass then you have 2 years e-test free!

ludesrv-are you still using OBD0? Asking because there are B16 CRX's here running 14.4-14.7 with less power and mods than you. You would probably pull more power and net better times with a different tune (OBD1+Hondata)

My 147whp would run all over a GSR swapped EM/EJ...different chassis, but they did make more whp.

I think Omni had the best recipe for the 200whp N/A B16
