Water entering through the cf hood?
I have just recently purchased a new carbon fiber hood from VIS Racing. It is the invader hood with the hood basically having an inward hood scoop where water could collect. Haven't installed yet, but was wondering during the rainy season when water enters it will it damage the engine or anything else. Is there anyway to block it or is it alright?
Don't worry about it. The vent is too small for anything huge to get through there. You could always put a little plastic behind it when it rains. Probably take 2 minutes to do. Leave it open when it doesn't rain.
What does it look like? can you post a picture or link? I have an idea - but i'm not sure.

Thanks, this is a link to see it on another car not mine though.
