3inch DP to 3inch E cutout to ?????inch flexpipe to oem cat to oem exhaust.

this is for my friend's setup, and, we've been looking for a flexpipe that is 3inches at the opening where the e cutout ends and 2.25 (i believe that is the diameter for the oem cat on the 99 civic si) at the end at the flexpipe where it goes into the cat.

is there a bettter way to do this than trying to find a flexpipe like this?

ok this is my same setup so here's what ive got going.

3" dp with the cutout welded in. right after the cutout i have it go to 2.5", which bolts to my 2.5" testpipe, and then the oem exhaust right after that. you would just substitue the testpipe for the cat.

basically, put a reducer in the downpipe after the testpipe, and then flange that to the cat.

 

i dont really want a test pipe. want to keep the oem cat. can i just run this transition welding the 3inch section to the exiting end of the flexpipe and putting a 2.25 flange on the exiting part of the transition. that way i can bolt the cat onto the transition? well heres a link to the transition.

what about putting the cutout right after the test pipe/cat ?
