do it yourself tints
from what i hear do it yourself tints are very hard to put on. i got some from walmart for about 12 dollars and took it back about an hour later, stuff is super hard to put on without leaving any air bubbles. so i was wondering wouldn't it be easier to take the door apart and take the window out and install it? the door wouldn't be in the way and you can have alot of space working on it in your garage or even in your room. or is it just better to get it done professionally? i know the back window if taken out would most likely need to be installed back in professionally because theres supposed to be a certain about of pressure the window is supposed to have have. other than that it seems like a cheap alternative to having them pro installed. i should have tried that before i took the tints back.
any other suggestions on how to install self tints..

Believe me, from my experiences with 3M Tints (consumer grade as opposed to commercial grade), there's only one thing to say:
"Put down the squeegee and step away from the car"
Cousin, for the amount of labor, time and trips back to DeathZone AutoParts for more product; get yourself (posthaste) to your local Tint Emporium and shell out the $140.00 bucks for the job.
Next day: stand back and congratulate yourself on a great lookin' car and start thinking about your next DIY project.

The pros have templates for the different cars, so it makes it a lot easier. That, and it takes a lot of practice and skill to make it look easy, like the pros do. Some of the places have lifetime warranties on the tint, so that kind of makes it worth the price, if you keep the car for a while.
Well your first problem is you are doing it dry. I can guarantee the professionals do not do it dry. I work for a sign company and when we do digital prints we use a liquid called Rapid-Tac. You could soak the sticker with this put it on and slide it around and adjust it. then squeegee it and not have a single bubble. I have no Idea where you can buy this liquid from. I know a sign company in your area will definitely have some they can not make money with out it. good luck,
