Today i hopped into my car and for somereason my tranny won't shift in reverse.. im right now sitting at the shop letting my car defrost of shitty *** wisconsin snow and salt mixture b4 i climp under the ***** to check out the damage...if any ideas of what i could do >>or had the same problem let me know..yeah my clutch is getting weak so im guessing its that..and plus i should adjust the clutch cable cuz it prolly aint disengaging the clutch probaly..so yeah if any other ideas u can think of...would really help ,,thanks-teal_civic_mobile

 

adjust ur cable first...its an old car things start to rattle and get loose after a while...i know the **** on mine doesnt lock anymore...and i like my clutch a certain way so i gotta adjust it back every 2 weeks or so....

 

I had the same problem with my 99 Si. All the forward gears worked great, just no reverse. Don't know how to fix it though, I just got a new one after like six months. Always park where you can just go forward. Or just make sure you always have someone with you.
