replacing the radiator support
i need to replace the radiator support on the car
what i need/want to know is if there is any welding involved? i know on the newer hondas they are welded in but i noticed some bolts on our ef chassis. but i didnt get to look into it as i was slammed at work. thanx in advance!

yes you must spot weld the rad support on. It does not just bolt up. YOu are gonna have to drill out the existing spot welds. Its not hard just time consuming. So when you have it off and your ready to put the new one on line it up and then spot weld it back on. Good Luck
yea, I can vouche for that the support is not bolted in in the slightest way, its mother ******* spot welded like a bitch, lots of work getting it off, I just grinded the **** out of it, expletive drilling out spot welds.
thats not what i wanted to hear lol. sigh... well would it be too much to drill em out, bolt it on where i need it, then take the car to get it spot welded on? thanx for the quick reply
yeah you can line up the bolts and take it somewhgere to get it spot welded
