Eibach Pro-System for AutoX/Track Days
(This is a crosspost from RR/AX; I hope no one minds. I just need input.)
I've just come across this product on Tire Rack. First, let me explain my situation a little.
I have a 98 Integra RS, bolt-ons but stock suspension. 90k on the clock. Obviously, the bolt-ons put me in STS/ST3 but the suspension can make getting the car to dance tricky (see avatar
).
I'd love to do something really aggressive, but coil-overs are too expensive and sport kits are too low (I need ground clearance in the winter). Even the small amount of lowering on the Pro-Kits makes me a little wary. This is also my daily driver, so even with regular autocrossing and a few track events its primary role is still to get me to work and back.
I'm not worried about being competitive in national autocrosses or road races. I just feel that the suspension is a serious weak link and if this kit can help me be competitive in my local club (I keep up OK for being a n00b with a ***** suspension now
) and maybe make some Miata owners try a little harder...well, that'd be just peachy.
