UPDATE !

alright so after an hour long drive and 20 bucks later I now have the bumper at home actually in front of me here's what i'm looking at wire wise ...

Each parking sensor is running off a relay box which has 3 wires (tan, black& white) which i take it are positive negative & one that connects to the switch ...

Each fog lamp has two wires running off of them a black wire and a black w/red stripe ... which i'm taking it is the ground and power and i'll have to wire up a switch to the positive if i'm thinking right.

So hopefully i'm going in the right direction ... if you guys have any advice, positive comments or ideas feel free to lemme know. I'm gonna need all the help i can get

If I'm not mistaken it's that stupid thing that beeps at you when you get too close to something with your front bumper.

Hmmm, that sounds like it would be really difficult to wire up.

Yes ... that's pretty much all it does. Before everyone starts yelling JDM bandwagon etc. etc. I picked it up for one hell of a deal figured i might as well run all the accessories even if they are kind of stupid but hey who knows maybe this parking sensor will save my lip one day

although i am using wings west lips so i'm not worried about them breaking anytime soon

Yeah I have NO clue as to how you would even start wiring them up. To be honest I'm not worried about breaking my new CF Mugen lip by running into anything... it'll be from the speedbumps at my school.

From what I can tell, it's just scratched paint. And it wouldn't have matched his car to begin with, he would've needed to get it painted reguardless. Thanks for being a ****** about things though.

Looks like that bumper fell the expletive out of the space shuttle. I didn't know UPS did that. I hope those scratches are superficial and not gouges in the plastic.

I'm sure if you got a good deal, though, that you paid less for everything than the foglights would cost new

Yeah the ******** put in 5" tall speedbumps at my school in order to "stop kids from running the stop sign." I wrote a letter to the school and the local newspaper about how I was going to charge the school $647.95 for my WS2 and installation. The paper printed it, and they took one of them out.

Now I just have to figure out how to get around the other one...

I can't really see any of the wiring to them, but they may be wired up like an alarm. I don't know if it's an increasing tone or not, but you could possibly wire it up to your lights on buzzer (if you have one). I'd be willing to bet it has a constant power, a ground, and either a negative or a positive signal wire if it's not an increasing tone based on distance between the sensors and the object. I've never heard of this nor seen it before.

That's what I was thinking as well, though I'm not sure if it would work or not. This whole thing is foreign (no pun intended) to me..

the reasons for the white marks is that I had it placed in my closet and the dry wall is rubbing off on it, also the bumper is primered black and all your seeing is just little scratches and no gouges at all. from what I heard the parking sensors are a 600 dollar option from honda of japan, I think HT member cxSHOE had given me this information a long while back.

it's actually an OEM part from honda from japan, they're discontinued I believe so I wouldn't know the part#, from what I've heard it does make a beeping noise in the cabin notifying you that you are very close to an object, the wiring part of it?, hell I don't even know

yeah, many high end cars have them now, like mercedes, bmw and land rovers.

i just never heard of them as a factory option for a civic. can you post a close up pic of the sensor to see honda on them
