sorry forgot about the header.

i bought the eagle crank because i didn't trust buying a used one.

and 210-220 i have a friend with a 12:5to1 1.8 that makes 210whp

Unless you are running 112 octane or higher you are most definently not goign to get 240 whp out of that setup.

My 12.5 CR 2.0 motor is shoudl be putting down aroudn 200 with a stock header on a dynojet on 93 octane gas....admitedly I need an ignition system/header, and some more tuning, but you get the idea. Low octane fuel is a pretty limiting factor once you get to a certian point.

well hopefully i can get someone that knows their stuff to tune it for me. i'm going to run two maps one for race gas and one for pump gas.

after i break he motor in i might spray it with a directport 75 shot just to see how it reacts

SO you are goign to store one map on CD and one map on the EMS? Just curious....I wasn't aware you could store multiple fuel/ignition maps on one EMS.

Then I certianly hope you don't plan on changing the cam timing via the gears, the fuel pressure via regulator, or anythign like that.

I have not dynoed the BC5's yet so I really do not have the answer. I was going to do a test on another motor but ran out of time. The only person I know who has run them lost BHP. We did the head for the B-18 that made 210 WHP with BC4's just adding 200 cc's should be 233 WHP. Now that Neil has re-ringed his B-18 I would like to see the numbers.

Steve(Omniman) recently made over 240whp on his BC5's. IIRC, his compression is currently in the mid 11's. That might not happen here though. It could just be that the BC5's really like the flat top pistons in his motor. I guess we'll have to wait and see

yea i don't plan on it. it will most likely stay on the racegas tune all the time because it's going to be mainly a track car.

They probably had the cam timing wrong or some other problem. you should have the person IM me so i can give them a few pointers on how to set them up.

there were at least 3 witnesses when i put the BC 5 in and gained about 30 whp over the stock gsr cams on the dyno. the dyno sheet was posted with the before and after gains.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

i might pm you to get some pointers on how to set them up just to get a starting point.

It was Tom(Tbone). IIRC, his valve sizes would not allow him to adjust the cam gears at all without valve contact.

dod you ave any clearance problems when adjusting the cam gears?
