97 accord alarm problem
Aight so i went away for college and left my car home (it has a blown head gasket
) and my piece of **** checkmate alarm that came with the car when i bought it went off and it would not turn off the remote is all fucked up. Fortunatly the car was unlocked while it was in the garage but i am unable to turn any off the locks except the trunk when with the key. How do i fix this. btw the battery is also dead.

Get rid of the Piece-o-Sh..t Checkmate alarm and recharge the battery.
Pull the Radio, so you can get the Serial Number (To get the radio Security Code from Honda)
And if you insist, find a different alarm.

right i know i have to get rid of the alarm...i have an aftermarket radio in the car but i still have the radio laying around somewhere..how do i take the alarm out fully? and what do i do with the security code when i get it?
Unless the Aftermarket Radio you installed requires it, you won't need the security code. My presumption was you had a Honda OEM Radio Chassis in the dash. The security code that I mentioned is hard programmed into a PROM chip within the Radio Chassis.
I would suggest, unless you can scare up someone familiar with THAT PARTICULAR ALARM system, pull it out in it's entirety and start from square one with an Alarm System of your choice.
