Default fastbrakes itr brake conversion=wrong directions

ok well i ordered the itr brake conversion for my ls from fastbrakes. it tells you to grind the side of the bracket that doesn't mount to the hub. sounds good so you get the caliper perfectly flush and it won't touch the rotor. one BIG problem! now that you do that the the outside pad rests in the caliper bracket there is too much room in between the rotor and the bracket so once i use about 4/32 of lining from my outside pad it will fall out of the caliper. i know i should have a machine shop machine the other side so the gap is even, but this is how the directions stated to do it now i'm out a car even longer, because of bad directions. and now i need a new caliper bracket! it's sat. of course and i can't contact fastbrakes. can somebody help me out?please i want to drive my car. does anybody know how i can get in touch with the guy from fast brakes today?
