Default LTB quick release install *updated - it's junk

This isn't so much a walkthrough, just some pics of the final result. Installation is very straightforward, and the only thing I did worth noting was using an 1/8th inch stereo plug to make a quick release for the horn cable. I went with the LTB because I've always hated the seating position in CRXes... if I slide the seat back so the pedals are at a good distance, I can't reach the wheel. The quick release moves the wheel out 3 inches. The quality of the LTB piece is pretty good... there's a little play, but I don't notice it when I'm driving. What I *do* notice is that I can't reach my turn signal stalk without taking my hand off the wheel... that's gonna take some getting used to. Oh well, I suppose I can't have everything I want. But a big to actually being able to sit back in my seat and reach the wheel now. On with the pics:

Glad you like it but that thing looks big enough to have come off a school bus.

because it's closer to the camera than you're expecting 3" makes a huge difference.

there's nothing inherent about the design that eliminates the horn, but the + wire isn't built into the hub... is it on the NRG? it would have been a nice touch. prior to this, i had a regular spade type electrical plug all wrapped in electrical tape, but it dawned on me that i might want something that would actually make the wheel removable.

all right, Lo Buck EF was right, this thing's a piece of ****. It took a matter of a few hundred miles before it got so loose and wobbly as to be dangerously distracting. for the LTB motorsports quick release.

yeah, i really didn't even want a quick release... i just wanted a 3 inch spacer. i found this, and figured, hey, for a couple bucks more, i can have it release too. the damn thing's only $100 shipped, but i guess you get what you pay for. i'm ordering an OMP 60mm spacer next week.
