jdm fogs with usdm wires?

jdm fogs with usdm wires?
a buddy of mine just purchased jdm fogs, he currently has oem fogs so he baught for a very good price only the fogs thinking it would be a direct replacment, my question for him would be is there a possibility he can use his oem wires,relay etc.. and just add it to the jdm fogs or does he need to buy a new set of wires?

I dunno if it would work or not. I was in the same situation as your friend. I had a set of USDM foglights but wanted the JDM ones w/o buying a whole new set. I was told by a few people that they are not compatible. Not sure why though

The only thing that will not be compatible with the USDM harness is the JDM switch.
I have the part number if he needs it its $59 bucks from most honda places
edit: im talking about the interior wiring harness. If he just has the fogs and NO wiring harness( the outside car harness) he will have to get creative but he can still pull it off.

hes got no harness at all.. he wants to keep his usdm button with the wireing and he was thinking of splicing the wires to the jdm fogs if thats possible

okay well i know how to help him out but i am about to run out to the store and its dark outside so i cant take pics of mine. but i can show him an easy fix to the problem.
So i take it he has the USDM fogs and wiring ( inside and outside) . and he wants to make the JDM's work if so, i think i know how to do it.
